Reiki Healing Energy Stuns Nurses...

About a year after I received my master's level certification in Reiki, I visited a friend's friend in the ICU of a local Seattle hospital. This friend of my friend had just gotten out of drug rehab and on his first day home, overdosed on heroin.

We were both allowed into his ICU room to say goodbye. This man's family was going to unplug his life support system the next day. The ICU nurse told us this man was only kept alive by machines at this point.

My friend stood on this man's left side and I on his right bedside. I was suddenly nudged by unseen forces, to invoke the Reiki energy and place both my hands over his heart. The nurse had already left the room, so I commenced doing Reiki. I placed my hands right above his heart area, without physically touching him.

The second my hands were held over this man's heart, he suddenly arched his back, as if to bring his chest to meet my hands that were hovering over. Shocked, I snatched my hands away. The moment I did, he fell back onto the hospital bed. His monitors went crazy! The nurse ran in asking what we were doing. We both played innocent.

She left the room once stabilizing this man's life support system. My friend whispered, "What did you do?!" I shrugged my shoulders and decided to test the Reiki energy...to see if could possibly happen again.

Once again, I held my hands over this brain dead man's heart area...not on, but over. And again, this man's back arched, his chest seeming to attempt to reach my hands! The monitors blared out an emergency call and we were subsequently kicked out of this man's room this time.

Was he still alive? Was there a chance he could survive the unplugging of his life support apparati? What caused this brain dead man's body to react physically to Reiki energy?

As we walked out of the hospital, my friend looked at me like he just discovered I was a wizard. I told him about my Reiki certifications and with mouth still hanging open, he said, "Imagine who you could help with that!"
